A third-generation South African-born Chinese photographer with a deep love for capturing the world as I see and feel it. Though I consider myself an amateur, photography has become a way for me to connect with the fleeting beauty in everyday life. One of my proudest moments was having my image “Getting There” selected as a finalist in the 2024 Orms X Canon Wonders Through Focus Photographic Competition, later exhibited along Sea Point’s stunning promenade in Cape Town.

Photography, for me, is not about chasing perfection—it’s about presence, storytelling, and staying attuned to the quiet details that often go unnoticed. Each image you see on this site is my own work and is protected by copyright. If something resonates with you and you’d like to license or use an image, please feel free to get in touch via the contact page. I’m always open to a thoughtful conversation.

Beyond the lens, my identity is deeply rooted in both faith and community. I’m an active member of the Catholic Church, and my involvement there continually nourishes my spirit and shapes the way I see the world. My faith often inspires the stillness, reverence, and light I try to reflect in my work.

I also proudly serve as an active member of the Western Province Chinese Association (WPCA), where I contribute to preserving Chinese culture and supporting local community initiatives. From helping organise cultural festivals to participating in outreach and education efforts, I find great meaning in staying connected to the community that has helped shape who I am.

Below is my feed from Instagram, but I’ll curate and add selected images here periodically
